ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A distribution head for telecommunication cables has solderless, non-screwed and non-stripping terminal strips provided in separate termination spaces within a housing for connection to a feeder cable and to dropwire cables. The housing is designed so that the feeder cable may be inserted into the top or the bottom of the housing by turn- ing the housing through 180°. One of the terminal strips is provided, for connection to the dropwire cables, with terminal elements formed with slots having a stepped configu- ration for severing insulation on the dropwire cables.
