Abstract DISTRIBUTOR FOR USE IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS The distributor (1) is provided for the connection of external and internal cables (7, 8) for shielded cabinets (S) employed in communication systems. It is composed of a cabinet-like housing (2) having a door (3) that is fastened in the cabinet (S), and of bars (4a) as carriers of plug-in connectors (KS, GS, KL) and blind bars (4b). The bars (4a, 4b) have a U-shaped profile and are arranged to be inserted and locked in the rear wall (5) of the housing (2). Together with the rear wall (5) and the bottom plate (14) of the housing (2), they form a shielding wall at which the external lines (7) can be plugged into the plug-in connectors (GS, KS, KL) from the front (outside) while the internal lines (8) are brought to it from the rear (inside).
