ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A distributor with a rotor brush is described in which a silicon coating is provided on a surface of the rotor brush. The end surface of the rotor brush is coated, by an ion-plating method. The surface of the brush may be cleaned before plating by gas ion sputtering.
