ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to detection systems by the transmission of sonar or radar signals. The invention relates to a detection system associating diversified transmission means with an interferometric base. This base supplies angular channel formation means and each signal formed in this way is processed by matched filtering in a circuit containing copy sig- nals characterizing the space colouring obtained by the diversified transmission means. The invention is more particularly applicable to side or front looking detection sonars.
