A microfluidic device for isolating genomic DNA from human leukocytes, simultaneously capturing and measuring the DNA for simplifying genetic analysis. The device contains a fluid inlet port, a fluid outlet port, and a DNA binding channel in contact with the fluid inlet port wherein at least a portion of at least one surface within the DNA binding channel is modified with a binding reagent such that DNA is preferentially bound to the surface.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif microfluidique permettant d'isoler l'ADN génomique des leucocytes humains, de capturer et mesurer simultanément l'ADN afin de simplifier l'analyse génétique. Le dispositif comporte un port d'admission du fluide, un point d'évacuation du fluide et un canal de liaison de l'ADN en contact avec le port d'admission du fluide, au moins une partie d'une surface à l'intérieur du canal de liaison de l'ADN étant modifiée par un réactif de liaison de sorte que l'ADN soit idéalement lié à la surface.
