ABSTRACT OF THE ENCLOSURE The invention concerns a do-it-yourself system of assembling furniture and other objects. This system comprises, for example, tubular frame members which may be interconnected at right angles at their ends with the aid of mechanical con- necting members. U-sections are secured to the flat sides of each of the frame members so that the ends of bars may be secured and engaged in the U-sections. The invention permits the assembly of a wide variety of objects without the use of welding, bonding or perforations.
