PATENT APPLICATION INVENTOR: ABRAM G. ELIAS and PETER G. ELIAS TITLE: DOCUMENT HANGING SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system for hanging documents on rails comprises a pair of spaced-apart horizontal rails with a rigid supporting bar with ends overhanging and supported by the rails. A lower part of the supporting bar in one embodiment has a plurality of spaced openings for receiving one or both ends of a plurality of flexible straps with heads at their opposite ends. Document attachment means include a plurality of spaced openings corresponding to those of the supporting bar, and which receive the straps. A document is then fastened to the document attachment means. The rigid bar can be S-shaped or be folded from resilient, flexible sheet material. A document compactor may be used to interlock with apertures in the rails to compress and position the supporting bars along the rails.
