PATENT APPLICATION INVENTOR: ABRAM G. ELIAS and PETER G. ELIAS TITLE: DOCUMENT HANGING SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system for hanging documents employs tough, flexible, resilient strips attached directly to edge faces of the documents, generally one sheet per hanger. An aperture in the resilient strip adjacent the top edge has a pair of wings directed toward one another and defining an inverted T-shaped opening. An inverted T-bar or U-bar mounted in a cabinet or on a rack is engageable with the wings in the aperture for holding the flexible strip and its attached document and for removeably suspending same from the horizontal flanges of the bar. Two such apertures and bars may be used in a hanging system, as well as compactor bars carried on the bar or bars and engaging apertures therein for grouping the document hangers longi- tudinally along the rail.
