A dog litter scoop comprising a handle and a scoop blade attached to the handle with a front blade edge and a blade surface onto which material can be scooped over the front edge and a bag support arch mounted on the blade at the front edge and defining two legs standing upwardly from the blade surface at the front edge, each having a base at a respective end of the front edge and defining an opening across the front edge between the legs for scooping the material between the legs. The ached member is arranged to receive a bag with an upper edge of the bag folded around the bag support arch and the front edge to support the bag with the open mouth held open.
