A doll has a relatively rigid body and limbs pivotally connected thereto. The limbs are made of a material which is relatively more flexible than the body and is characterized as having a flexibility which is proportional to its thickness. The limbs have regions of thinning at locations representing joints of anatomy. When the doll is caused to move, it will do so in an animated life-like fashion.
