A doll body supports a pair of arms (15, 16) and a pair of legs (18, 19) upon an upper body portion (12) and a lower body portion (17) respectively. The upper body supports an upper body armature (30) having a downwardly open socket (32). The lower body supports an upwardly extending ball (73) received within the socket (32) to provide a ball and socket joint between the upper and lower body portions. The body further includes a flexible soft midriff portion (20) having a realistic contour and texture which is molded upon the upper body armature and lower body armature (70) to encapsulate the ball and socket joint and provide a continuous flexible body portion between the upper and lower bodies. The molded midriff portion (20) is formed in a realistic contour and texture to facilitate dressing the doll in bare midriff fashions.
L'invention concerne un corps de poupée comportant une paire de bras (15, 16) et une paire de jambes (18, 19) disposées respectivement sur une partie supérieure (12) du corps et une partie inférieure (17) du corps. La partie supérieure du corps comporte une armature (30) de corps supérieure dotée d'une cavité articulaire (32) s'ouvrant vers le bas (32). La partie inférieure du corps comporte une rotule (73) s'étendant vers le haut et se logeant dans la cavité (32) de manière à former un joint à rotule entre les parties supérieure et inférieure du corps. Le corps comprend également une partie (20) de taille souple présentant un contour et une texture réalistes, cette partie étant moulée sur l'armature de la partie supérieure et sur l'armature (70) de la partie inférieure de manière à enrober le joint à rotule et à constituer une partie de corps souple continue entre les parties supérieure et inférieure du corps. La partie (20) de taille moulée présente un contour et une texture réalistes de manière à faciliter l'habillement de la poupée avec des vêtements à la mode qui laissent la taille nue.
