Dome spacecraft is a structure formed of three layers: a rigid frame and two flexible blankets attached from both sides to it, which ensure thermo-insulation, protection from other damaging factors, like radiation and impacts with various objects, as well, the confinement of a larger volume of space with life supporting conditions. Its Docking units ensure a secure full access for the docking spacecrafts, and personnel, objects and structures of greater size. Its main goal is to serve as experimentation site, where the further successful prolonged inhabiting of space by human being is tested, as well as other research scientific programs. Its main characteristics different from other spacecrafts, are the following: 1. Due to the qualities of its compound units, it is relatively easier and less costly to transport to the orbit of Earth. 2. Due to its elementary structure, it is easy to assemble in vacuum and imponderability conditions. 3. It ensures greater space with life supporting environment, in comparison to any other spacecraft existing presently. 4. It provides greater protection and security from the damaging environment due to its blankets composition and the devices designed for this specific reason, like the external impact diminishing magnetic resorts.
