ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A door assembly, upwardly pivotable, for a vehicle including a vehicle body (1) having a cockpit (4), comprising as an integral part thereof a windshield (9) covering the cockpit from the front to the upper rear thereof and as another integral part thereof a wiping mechanism (10) for wiping the windshield. A door assembly for a vehicle including a pair of front road wheels (5), a single rear road wheel (6) , and a driver's seat (30) disposed in a cockpit (4), wherein the door assembly is ver- tically pivotable about a hinge shaft (51) disposed at one side of the vehicle body to provide a step way at the opposite side thereof, has at the above-mentioned opposite side of the vehicle body a bulged portion (7) bulged transversely and configured to be continuous with one of front fender portions (3) when the door assembly is closed, and is provided with a side sill (19) disposed at the above-mentioned opposite side of the cockpit so as to engagingly abut on a lower edge part at the cockpit side of the bulged portion, the side sill being disposed substantially right under a side edge part at the of the driver's seat.
