ABSTRACT: A door bell system is powered by an electrical power cir- cuit including a solar cell, the circuit and cell being mounted on the bell push housing which is located externally at the doorway. In a preferred arrangement the solar cell feeds to a super capacitor whereby the need for a battery in the circuit is dispensed with.
