A B S T R A C T O F D I S C L O S U R E Catch mechanism is mounted in door frame to provide catch for the bolt of lock on the door. Catch mechanism comprises catch member movable from operative position in which serves as catch and inoperative position in which the lock bolt is released. Catch member is normally releasable by electric operation. However in event of fire heating mechanism to high temperature heat activated locking plunger locks catch member permanently in operative position.
