ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a door comprising a door comprising a wood frame, a core within the frame, said core comprising a heat-insulating material having a heat conductivity in the range 0.015 to 0.050 (W/M°C), a first laminate adhesively attached to one side of said frame, and a second laminate adhesively attached to the opposed side of the frame, wherein said first and second laminates each comprise an inner plate of iron or iron alloy of at least 0.2 mm thickness and an outer wood based layer adhesively secured to the outer surface of said plate.
