The invention relates to a device for monitoring the door gap of doors used in rail vehicles, elevators or the like, comprising at least one door leaf whose main closing edge thereof is optionally provided with an elastically deformable or elastically mounted profile, and relates to a method for monitoring such a door gap. The invention is characterized in that the device is activated when each door leaf of the doors is located in a closed final position, and in that the monitoring is effected by pneumatic, optical, inductive, capacitive or magnetic sensors or by combinations of sensors of these types. In principle, these sensors measure a physical quantity that corresponds to the shape or position of the gap/profile and is compared to the quantity of the proper shape/position of the gap/profile.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (10, 11) permettant de contrôler le jeu entre le dormant et le vantail de portes de véhicules sur rails, d'ascenseurs ou similaires, comportant au moins un vantail (2, 3) éventuellement muni au niveau de son arête de fermeture principale, d'un profilé (4) à déformation élastique ou à maintien élastique. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de contrôler un tel jeu entre dormant et vantail. L'invention se caractérise en ce que le dispositif (10, 11) est activé lorsque chaque vantail (2, 3) des portes se trouve en position terminale de fermeture et en ce que le contrôle s'effectue à l'aide de détecteurs pneumatiques, optiques, inductifs, capacitifs ou magnétiques (9, 19) ou de combinaisons desdits détecteurs. Par principe, il est ainsi possible de mesurer une grandeur physique correspondant à la forme ou à la position de la fente/du profilé (4) et de comparer la grandeur de la forme/position de la fente/du profilé, selon l'ordre.
