ABSTRACT The invention relates to a door handle and mounting washer arrangement in which two mounting washers are fitted on opposite sides of the frame engaging shanks formed on one mounting washer into corresponding shanks formed on the other mounting washer through pressure, the handles are movably fitted to the ends of a square bolt which extends on the axis of the mounting washers and which operates a lock which passes through the connected shanks. An interlock of the square bolt can also be fixed on the inside of a mounting washer in order to obstruct the movement of the handles and therefore of the lock so as to impede the opening of a closed door.
