Abstract of the Disclosure The arrangement is mounted on one side of a door for activating a latch release mechanism on the other side of the door. It includes a hollow housing having a first opening abutting one side of the door and a second opening A pull lever mechanism is mounted at the second opening and includes a lever pivotable relative to the housing from a normal position to an activating position. A rod member is mounted in the housing for movement with the pull lever mechanism from the normal the activating position to engage the latch release mechanism when in the activating position whereby the rod member activates the latch release mechanism.
