This invention relates to building construction and is directed to the placing of wooden door jambs. During the construction of housing units, office buildings, and apartment buildings oftentimes wooden door jambs are used to install interior doors. Nowadays, the popular method consists of using wooden shingles or shims and finish nails through the face of the door jamb to make the door jamb plumb or level in the rough stud opening. This invention totally eliminates the use of wooden shingles or shims and nails through the face of the door jamb. This invention will always keep the wooden door jamb even or straight so that they do not twist during installation, will make it easier for the carpenter to detach the wooden door jamb and it will also make the job neater and more efficient.
La présente invention relève du domaine de la construction immobilière et concerne plus précisément l'installation de montants de porte en bois, qui sont souvent utilisés pour installer des portes intérieures lors de la construction d'unités d'habitations, d'immeubles de bureaux ou d'habitation.
