ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A door lock which includes inner and outer attach- ment plates for securement to a door carrying a latch operated by a rod from the exterior or the interior of an associated door, a locking slide movable toward and away from the rod which is held adjacent the rod to lock the same by a pivotal locking tab which is pivoted for movement about an axis gen- erally parallel to the rod, and the locking tab being capable of being operated from both exteriorally and interiorally of the associated door.
