ABSTRACT Locking latch device for use with roll-up doors on trucks and tractor-trailer vehicles which will automatically latch when closing the door and which can only be opened after a pendulous latch member is set to an unlatching position by the use of a release member. A locking device is provided to render the latching mechanism inoperable to prevent unauthorized opening of the roll-up door.
