A multi-function door lock with handle assemblies on each side that drive a locking bolt assembly through the medium of a crank so that the locking bolt can assume a fully retracted position, a partially extended latching position or an extended deadlocked position. Each handle assembly may incorporate a keyed cylinder or thumb screw that drives a clutch to engage or disengage drive to the locking bolt assembly. The keyed cylinders or thumb screws and associated clutches are interconnected by a spindle that carries a flap that can be driven by return movement of the locking bolt to re-engage either clutch.
