ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A door lock guard for use with a conventional knob operated lock of the mortise and tenon-type is commonly a complicated structure. A relatively simple guard of the type in question includes an elongated metal body of L-shaped cross section, one arm of the body being connected to the outer surface of the door near the lock edge, so that the other arm of the body projects outwardly for entering a slot in the door jamb when the door is closed. Such other arm blocks access to the lock bolt by means of a credit card or similar article.
