A door sill assembly is provided with an adjustable threshold (22) and is made up of an elongated metal frame (36) for installation on the floor of the doorway. The metal frame is provided with a tongue and sloping sill portion (46), a vertically extending rib (48) and a shelf (50) located below and integrally oriented relative to the rib. The threshold rail (38) is supported on the frame member shelf portion upon two adjustable feet (64) for varying the relative height level of the rail. A plastic threshold cap (40) is sized to fit over the threshold rail and includes a pair of downwardly spaced ribs (82, 84) sized to securely fit over the vertical rib of the frame member to locate the threshold cap and rail relative to the frame member while providing limited vertical adjustment. The interior trim molding (44) is provided which is fixed relative to the frame member and oriented inboard of the threshold cap.

L'invention concerne un assemblage de seuil de porte doté d'un seuil réglable (22) et composé d'un cadre métallique allongé (36) pouvant être installé sur le sol du pas de porte. Le cadre métallique est pourvu d'une partie de seuil à rampe et languette (46), d'une rainure orientée verticalement (48) et d'une étagère (50) placée sous et intégralement orientée par rapport à la rainure. Le rail du seuil (38) est supporté sur la partie d'étagère de l'élément de cadre sur deux pieds réglables (64) permettant de faire varier le niveau de hauteur relative du rail. Un élément couvrant le seuil en plastique (40) permet de couvrir le rail du seuil et comporte également une paire de rainures espacées vers le bas (82, 84) adaptées pour recouvrir solidement la rainure verticale de l'élément de cadre afin de placer l'élément couvrant le seuil et le rail par rapport à l'élément de cadre, tout en fournissant un réglage vertical limité. Le moulage de menuiserie (44) est fixé par rapport à l'élément de cadre et orienté vers l'intérieur de l'élément couvrant le seuil.
