Abstract A door (1) is described which has a locking member (4) which is actuated by a handle (6) which can be swiveled around a vertical swivel axis (12). A deflecting gearing having a gearing part acting on the locking member and a second gearing part which can be connected with the handle is arranged in a fastening device of a handle mounting. The locking member can be actuated optionally by pressing or pulling on the handle. A handle mounting suitable for the latter is also described (Fig. 1).
