Disclosed is a dope which has an excellent moldability and can be molded into a fiber, a film, a pulp-like particle or the like by a wet bag process. Also disclosed is a method for manufacture of a fiber having excellent heat resistance, strength and elastic modulus. The dope comprises a polyamide having a repeat unit represented by the formula (I): wherein Ar1 represents at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of the following groups: and and has an intrinsic viscosity of 1.0 or more and a basic solvent. In the dope, the polyamide is contained at a concentration exceeding 10% by weight and up to 25% by weight. The dope has optical anisotropy at 50~C. The method for manufacture of the fiber is characterized by using the dope.

La présente invention concerne un dopant se prêtant très bien au moulage notamment de fibres, films, particules pulpaires ou analogues selon un procédé dit de "moule humide". L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'une fibre résistant très bien à la chaleur, très solide et un excellent module élastique. Ce dopant est constitué d'un solvant basique et d'un polyamide intégrant une unité de répétition représentée par la formule (I). Dans cette formule, Ar1 représente au moins un substituant choisi dans le groupe constitué des groupes représentés par les formules (II) et (III) et présentant une viscosité intrinsèque d'au moins 1. Dans le dopant, le polyamide est maintenu à une concentration massique supérieure à 10 % et pouvant atteindre 25 %. L'anisotropie optique du dopant est à 50 °C. Le procédé de fabrication de la fibre est caractérisé par l'utilisation de ce dopant.
