A non effervescent tablet of ibuprofen, comprising a tablet core and, if desired, a-sugar or film coat, wherein the tablet core, based on the weight of the tablet core, consists of 50 to 100% by weight sodium ibuprofen hydrate and 50 to 0% by weight auxiliary material component and contains no lubricant and no disintegrant, and wherein the sodium ibuprofen hydrate has a water content of 8 to 16% by weight, preferably 11 to 16% by weight, possesses a sufficient hardness, is comparably small and leads to a particularly rapid increase in blood level and thereby to an accelerated onset of analgesic effect. Contrary to the current doctrine sodium ibuprofen hydrate having a suitable water content is sufficiently compressible.
L'invention concerne un comprimé non effervescent d'ibuprofène comprenant un noyau de comprimé et, si nécessaire, une enveloppe de sucre ou une pellicule d'enrobage. Sur la base de son poids, ce noyau de comprimé comprend entre 50 et 100 % en poids d'hydrate d'ibuprofène sodique et entre 50 et 0 % en poids d'un constituant de matière secondaire, et ne contient pas de lubrifiant ni de délitant. L'hydrate d'ibuprofène sodique présente une teneur en eau comprise entre 8 et 16 % en poids, de préférence entre 11 et 16 % en poids, et possède une dureté satisfaisante et une taille relativement petite. Il se caractérise en outre par une augmentation particulièrement rapide de la concentration sanguine, d'où l'apparition précoce d'un effet analgésique. Par opposition à la méthode actuelle, l'hydrate d'ibuprofène sodique présentant une teneur en eau appropriée est suffisamment compressible.
