The present invention relates to a dot element with magnetically or electrically conducting material forming part of an information display and for setting in one of at least two display positions. The invention is characterized in that the dot element is pivotably arranged around a pivot protruding essentially perpendicular from the surface of said display portion, and that the display portion (1) has an upper side with at least two different light generating and/or light reflecting areas (v; s).
