ABSTRACT A piston and cylinder are provided wherein the piston has driving movement in both directions and instead of having the usual piston rod it has an arm projecting through a slot in the cylinder. Such slot is sealed off by a flexible strip anchored at the ends of the cylinder and having tension means acting thereon to maintain it in a tight condition for effective sealing. The cylinder of the invention has efficient usage as the drive means for truck cab windows and utilizes an extruded cylinder portion of minimum dimension parti- cularly applicable for installation in truck doors to drive the windows.
