Double-break terminal Abstract A disconnecting switch in a double-break terminal for opening and closing the current paths in the upper and lower levels of a terminal formed by conductor rails, comprising a tilting lever which supports a connecting link for each level and which can be pivoted into three different switch positions, where- by in one of the two levels the contact regions opposite one an- other of the conductor rails concerned are provided with extensions to form a further switch position such that when the tilting lever is in the relevant switch position this current path is closed whereas the current path in the other level is open.
