It is common for bicycles to have only a single chain ring on the front crank- set. In this invention, a thin circular disc is mounted to the crank-set on the inside (the side closest to the bicycle frame) of the single chain ring. It is fixed to the crank-set and thus rotates with the crank-set. This invention is produced in various diameters to correspond with varying diameters of chain ring size. The invention prevents the bicycle chain from becoming disengaged from the chain ring and falling to the side closest to the bicycle frame.
