9285 ABSTRACT A double-ended electrical plug receptacle connector assembly for the end-to-end connection of electrical plugs, comprises contacts which extend longitudinally in channels in a frame and which are bent about the frame to provide obliquely extending contact springs whose alignment is maintained by barrier walls projecting from the frame. The frame is slidably received in a tubular sheath in which it is firmly retained by latching and biasing members which are formed integrally with the frame and the sheath. Both the frame and the sheath can be produced in straight action moulds.
