DOUBLE GATED VALVE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed a gate valve having a pair of side- by-side through conduit gates which are adapted to be reciprocated relatively to one another by a fail safe actuator of such construction as to move the upstream gate to closed position before the downstream gate and the downstream gate to open position before the upstream gate.
