Double layer forming fabrics, woven to an overall repeating weave pattern requiring at least 8 sheds in the loom, provide a low drainage area in a notional centre plane between the paper and machine side layers, to resist and retard initial impingement drainage. Transverse binder yarn pairs follow a single combined path interweaving with paper side layer and machine side layer yarns, with long internal floats under at least four paper side layer yarns between exchange points and interlacing points in the machine side layer. The members of the pairs are laterally displaced in relation to each other along the single combined path. The fabric has a total warp fill after heatsetting of at least 100%. The drainage areas of the paper side layer and the machine side layers are between 25% and 50%, and the centre plane drainage area is between 8% and 20%.
L'invention concerne des toiles de formation double couche, tissées selon un motif d'armure à répétition nécessitant au moins 8 foules dans le métier, et permettant d'obtenir une zone de faible drainage dans un plan central théorique entre les nappes côté papier et côté machine, afin de résister et retarder le drainage par impact initial. Des paires de fils de liage transversaux suivent une voie combinée unique entrelacée avec des fils des nappes côté papier et côté machine, avec de longs flottés internes sous au moins quatre fils de nappe côté papier entre des points d'échange et des points d'entrelacement de la nappe côté machine. Les éléments des paires sont latéralement déplacés les uns par rapport aux autres le long de la voie combinée unique. La toile présente un garnissage de chaîne total après thermodurcissement d'au moins 100%. Les zones de drainage de la nappe côté papier et des nappes côté machine représentent de 25% à 50%, et la zone de drainage du plan central représente de 8% à 20%.
