A metal sheet having a surface with a single layer of hydrated chromium oxide or a double layer consisting of an upper layer of hydrated chromium oxide and a lower layer of metallic chromium, is laminated with a double layered thermoplastic resin consisting of a polyester resin inner layer bonded directly to the surface of the metal sheet and a polycarbonate resin outer layer which is adhered to the polyester resin layer by conventional film laminating or an extrusion laminating techniques.
