ABSTRACT A container assembly having a lid and a container in which a double seal is formed between the lid and the container, one seal being formed on the upper edge of the container rim and the second seal on the upper internal wall of the container, said seals being mechanically locked to one another in an operative condition wherein, in addition, said assembly is stackable, some size nestable, different size nestable with lids off and different size nestable with lids on.
