ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A double shear angled fastener sheet metal connector for connecting a wood held member to a wood holding member wherein the connector includes a side member formed with a restricted opening and a held-holding fastener driven at an angle through a portion of the end of the held member and into the holding member. The head end of the fastener is closely held by the metal side member. In the preferred form, the connector is formed with a header side which is fastened to the holding member thereby limiting bending of the held-holding fastener.
