The invention relates to a self-adhesive film for fixing a floor covering, especially a carpet, having an own weight of more than 500 g/m2, to a floor, especially parquet or stairs. Said film comprises a carrier layer consisting of a plastic film which is coated with a contact adhesive on an upper surface facing the floor covering, and on a lower surface facing the floor or the stairs. Said film has a minimum breadth of 150 mm in order to be able to cover a large area of the floor or stairs to be covered with the floor covering. The contact adhesive is fixed to at least the lower surface of the carrier layer in such a way that it remains thereon when the self-adhesive film is removed.

L'invention concerne un film autocollant, servant à coller un revêtement de sol, notamment une moquette, présentant un poids propre supérieur à 500 g/m?2¿, sur un sol, notamment sur un parquet ou sur un escalier. Ce film autocollant présente une couche support constituée d'un film plastique qui est revêtu d'une émulsion d'accrochage sur une surface supérieure, orientée vers le revêtement de sol, et sur une surface inférieure, orientée vers le sol ou l'escalier. Ce film autocollant présente une largeur minimale de 150 mm pour recouvrir une grande surface du sol ou de l'escalier, sur lesquels doit être posé le revêtement de sol. L'émulsion d'accrochage est fixée au moins sur la surface inférieure de la couche support de façon à rester sur cette dernière lors du décollement du film autocollant.
