A system for double-sided imaging on a continuous-web substrate (101) having first and second substrate surfaces, the system including an imaging device comprising a toner-image bearing surface (40) having selectively formed thereon first and second images. The system further includes a web-feeder system (102, 110, 112, 113, 126, 39, 41) which selectively brings the first and second substrate surfaces into operative engagement with the toner-image bearing surface (40), to transfer thereto the first and second images, respectively, in accordance with a preselected imaging sequence.

La présente invention concerne un système de formation d'image recto-verso sur un substrat (101) en bande continue caractérisée par une première face de substrat et par une seconde face de substrat. Ce système comporte un dispositif de production d'image constitué d'une surface support (40) d'image toner sur laquelle sont sélectivement formées la première image et la seconde image. Le système comporte en outre un dispositif d'alimentation de la bande (102, 110, 112, 113, 126, 39, 41) qui met sélectivement en contact opérationnel la première et la seconde faces de substrat avec la surface support (40) d'image toner, de façon à y transférer respectivement la première image et la seconde image, en respectant la séquence de production d'image préétablie.
