ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The double-slope wedge comprises two similar wedge halves (1,2) which are subdivided into mutually similar subwedges, which are put together in one piece. Each wedge half comprises a stack of constituent laminations (5) which are layered one above another and are held together one with another by a type of rivet joint (7,8). Wedges of this type are especially suitable for wedging the poles (9) on the rotor ring (11) and for wedging the rotor ring on the wheel spider (13) of electrical machines, are economic to produce, and can be easily installed and removed again.
