-Page 1- A method of making a double wall tank for storing liquids comprises providing an inner tank having substantially cylindrical sidewalls and end walls; wrapping an impervious sheet material around the cylindrical sidewalls; providing a spacer means on exterior surfaces of the end walls; covering the wrapped inner tank and spacer means with reinforced resinous material to form an outer tank; and providing access to inspect an interstitial space between the impervious sheet material and the inner tank.
