-7- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A double-wall underground tank is provided with a manway-type fitting over a hole in the outer wall, there being no corresponding hole in the inner wall. The fitting communicates with the annular space between the walls and serves as a reservoir for leak-detecting liquid. In another embodiment, the reservoir is a cylindrical fitting with an integral upper wall portion.
