ABSTRACT DOWNFLOW ISOMERIZATION OF EPOXIDES An epoxide, for example a terpenoid epoxide such as terpinolene-4,8-epoxide, is isomerized in the liquid phase in the presence of a solid alumina catalyst and preferably an inert gaseous diluent, the isomerization being conducted in the downflow mode.
