ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The downhole thermoacoustic device comprises heater with a terminal chamber, connected with a radiator of acoustic oscillation. The radiator of acoustic oscillation includes a hollow housing with a longitudinal shaft mounted thereinside. The longitudinal shaft supports coils with a winding wire, of which the cores are made up of active elements intended for ge- nerating acoustic oscillation and made, e.g. in the form of flat rings of a magnetostrictive material. Accommodated intermediate the coils is an element for focusing the acoustic field, while the longitudinal shaft carries a reflector of acoustic oscilla- tion, intended for intensifying the acoustic field in the radial direction. Mounted in the top and bottom portions of the radia- tor of acoustic oscillation are damping elements intended for damping the acoustic oscillation, e.g. in the form of sleeves of a resilient material. Accommodated intermediate the terminal chamber of the heater and the radiator is a heat-insulation mem- ber in the form of a sleeve with a ribbed or fluted surface. The internal space of the housing is filled up with a heat-resis- tant compound.
