- 9 - DRAFT ARM EXTENSION STOP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A lower draft arm extension link stop is provided in a tubular member of a lower draft arm of a three-point hitch for engaging the extension link in its extended position. A latch is formed on the tubular member of the lower draft arm to engage the extension link to its operating position. The extension link stop engages a hook on the extension link to operate as a safety catch when the latch is released. The extension link stop prevents the extension link from becoming completely disengaged from the tubular member. A clearance on a hook, on the front end of the extension link is provided so that it can be assembled when the link is angled in a somewhat vertical position relative to the tubular member of the lower draft arm. Once the hook is moved forwardly of the stop, the extension link is lowered to a coaxial position with the tubular draft member and then moved forwardly to latch in the operating position.
