Dragline rigging by which to support and operate a dragline bucket employs a hoist line equalizer with an upper weight bearing surface at which to take the load of the bucket and a link member with an equalizer engagement means, dragline bucket support pin receptors and dump block pin receptors. The dragline rigging has the respective mating surfaces of the hoist line equalizer and the engagement means rounded in a complementary fashion to permit relative angular movement whilst maintaining contact over a sufficiently extended surface area to optimize load bearing and wear. The mating surfaces are hard faced. The engagement means is formed in a block assembly providing connections to bucket and dragline via swivel pins the engagement means encircling the equalizer with its radius being greater than any cross sectional dimension of the equalizer, the respective contact surfaces of engagement means and the equalizer being rounded on their respective transverse sections.
