Abstract Drain assembly for sanitary fittings in general comprising a main drain pipe (3), the ends of which are designed to be connected to the drain hole (101) of the fitting (1) and to the siphon thereof together with a secondary drain pipe (11) located outside the said main pipe (3) in which the latter is fitted with an intermediate stopper (6) which can be actuated externally while the secondary pipe (11) opens into two regions of the main pipe (3) which are located upstream and downstream of the said stopper (6) and has a curved portion with the concavity facing downward and located above the inlet aperture of the said main pipe (3).
