A drain hole shape for a vessel capable of preventing a water film from forming in a drain hole without increasing the diameter of the drain hole. In a cross section including the centerline (6) of a drain hole (5), one wall (7) constituting the drain hole (5) is inclined with respect to the other wall (5). As a result, there is no possibility of a water film forming in the drain hole (5) due to surface tension, and instead water smoothly falls outside under gravity. Further, since the formation of a water film in the drain hole (5) can be prevented without increasing the diameter of the drain hole (5), entry of water into the vessel from the outside of the drain hole (5) can also be prevented.
