ABSTRACT A small and compact drain receptacle having a lateral inlet and outlet and also an upper inlet. The lateral inlet and outlet may be arranged in any desired angular setting in relation to each other. The receptacle is provided with an odour-trap. The assembled parts are held together, without bolts, by means of undercut grooves containing resilient, annular seals. The receptacle may easily be broken down into its individual com- ponents without any tools, thus permitting satisfactory cleaning, even within the pipes. The upper connection is in the form of an attachment having a cover which engages in a recess in the edge and applies no load to the in- serted parts. At the edge of the receptacle, a snap-in insulating ring may be fitted, independently of the attachment, as a vapour-lock or smooth closure bearing surface for a layer of plaster.
